Xunantunich Maya Ruins & Belize Zoo

The Belize Zoo is located 29 miles up the Belize Western Highway. It is the home to over 125 different animals. You can visit our favorite friend "April" the Tapir, one of Belize's National Animals and also learn of the different species that inhabit Belize. Directly after a visit to the zoo, you can enjoy a road trip to Cayo, where the Xunantunich Maya Ruin is located, just top of the Mopan River. You can visit the different plazas at this site, and learn the history of Xunantunich and its people.

Tour includes: Boat transportation into Belize City, land transfer to and from destination, guided tour, entrance fees, lunch, and boat transportation back to Caye Caulker.
