Snorkelling at the Hol-Chan Marine Reserve

The Hol-Chan Marine Reserve is another spectacular snorkeling destination. Hol Chan meaning "little channel" in Mayan, is located approximately 4 miles south from our neighbor San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. This reserve focus on the cut which is a break in the reef; you can snorkel the channel of Hol Chan and capture the large schools of fish including parrotfish, grouper, and snapper as well as Moray eels. Be revisited by the Nurse Sharks and Sting rays, as they hover around at the sound of the boat's motor for feed. As well as they are use to be fed by the guides and visitors. Feeling a little hungry yourself? Take a break from the swimming and enjoy lunch at San Pedro Ambergris Caye, then head back for more as you stop at the coral gardens. Swim around as you please, but don't drift away to far, we'll like to keep your for another visit. You can view all the massive corals, fishes, and amazing marine life.
